Looking for a school with a family atmosphere that will prepare your child for the future? Da Vinci Tree offers a STEM program, small class sizes, clubs, and plenty of tutoring and homework help at no cost to our families. In fact to be sure that our students get everything they need, Da Vinci Tree offers free and reduced price lunches, Saturday School for students who need extra classroom time, and school-issued iPads for all students! We inspire creative, analytical thinking that prepares kids for college/career and improves their opportunities in a global technological economy.

Special Education

Da Vinci Tree Academy is a public school that provides a free and appropriate public education (commonly referred to as “FAPE”) to students with disabilities who are currently eligible, or are determined eligible, to receive special education services and related services under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).

Teacher Pay

Da Vinci Tree Academy prides itself on providing its teachers with competitive pay.

Da Vinci Tree exists to enrich the lives of our students. In order to do that, we place a high priority on our teachers and support staff. This assures that quality providers of education are retained year after year. In accordance with A.R.S. §15-189.05, as added by Laws 2018, Ch. 285, §3, a school’s budget shall include the prominent display of the average salary of all teachers employed by the school for the budget and prior years, and the increase in the average salary of all teachers employed by the school for the budget year reported in dollars and percentage. Schools must also prominently post this information on their website home page separately from its budget.

We are pleased to notify you that in accordance with the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA), you have the right to request information regarding the professional qualifications of your child’s teacher. Specifically, you may request the following:

 

·      Whether the teacher has met State qualification and licensing criteria for the grade levels and subject areas in which the teacher provides instruction (Charter school teachers don’t need this under A.R.S. 15-183).

·      Whether the teacher is teaching under emergency, substitute , or SB 1159 status (Charter school teachers don’t need this under A.R.S. 15-183).

·      The baccalaureate degree major of the teacher and any other graduate certification or degree held by the teacher, and the field of discipline of the certification or degree.

·      Whether the child is provided services by paraprofessionals and, if so, their qualifications.
